Wasco Skylights with hurricane-resistant glazing meet FBC and other stringent state building codes for skylights installed in Wind Zone 3 coastal applications. Wasco’s E-Class® installs in 1/3 the time and delivers up to 22% more daylight in fixed glass models!
Our E-Class model (EFHR) is ready to go right out of the box – no mastic, no step-flashing, no sealants. Our one-piece curbframe and flashing design cuts 90 minute installation to 30 minutes!* Plus, Wasco E–Class skylights deliver up to 22% more daylight!** Our E–Class self-flashing skylights sit directly on the roof deck, giving you a larger glass area per rough opening compared to competitor. Backed by a 10 Year Leak Free Warranty.
Wasco’s E-Class skylights feature condensation control without the use of weep holes for maximum energy efficiency. Wasco’s thermally broken vinyl curb frame incorporates a large condensation that channel collects condensation until it can naturally evaporate, eliminating the need for drainage weep holes that allow outside air to pass through the curb, diminishing the energy efficiency of the skylight.
Wasco E-Class self-flashing skylights are for use with thin roofing materials such as composition, slate or wood shingles and shakes up to 3/4″ thick. All E-Class models require a minimum 3:12 roof pitch. A Metal Roof Adapter is available for low profile 1″ standing seam metal roofs with a minimum 4:12 pitch. Standard size models fit 16″ and 24″ on-center roof rafters.
* Compared to the leading competitor. * Fixed models.

Wasco Skylights with hurricane-resistant glazing meet Dade County, IBC/IRC/FBC and other stringent state building codes for skylights installed in Wind Zone 3 coastal applications.
Though it looks like ordinary glass, hurricane-resistant glass shields against damage from wind-borne debris, accidental impacts, forced entry, even unwanted noise. It’s made of heat strengthened low-E lites permanently bonded with one or more interlayers of durable SGP (DuPont SentryGlas® Plus). In exhaustive impact tests, broken glass fragments have adhered to the bonded plastic vinyl interlayer, reducing the risk of injury, shattered glass and breaching the building envelope.
