WASCO E-CLASS SKYLIGHT 10 YEAR “LEAK FREE” INSTALLATION LIMITED WARRANTY

For units purchased prior to March 1, 2010: Wasco Skylights are warranted not to leak due to defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years. Glass is guaranteed against seal failure for a period of ten (10) years.
For units purchased after March 1, 2010: Wasco Skylights are warranted not to leak due to defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years. Glass is guaranteed against seal failure for a period of twenty (20) years. SageGlass® and Unplugged™ components are guaranteed against failure for a period of five (5) years.
The original installation of Wasco’s E-Class skylights – EF, EFHR, EV and EVMS – are warranted not to leak water, and glass is guaranteed against seal failure. A “leak” is penetration of water through the E-Class, or between the E-Class and the roof deck. The warranty applies only to the materials and workmanship of the skylights and does not apply to any defect or damage caused by improper use, improper installation, improper care or accident. This warranty does not cover glass breakage. Glass corrosion as a result of standing water and debris on glass are not covered by this Warranty. Condensation on roof windows and skylights and any related water damage which may occur as a natural result of humidity within a building or a variation between indoor/outdoor temperatures is not a defect and will not be covered by this Warranty. The Warranty is void if any film is applied to the glass surface.
This Warranty applies to the original purchaser of the product for a period of ten (10) years from the original purchase date.
In the event of any warranty claim, an authorized Wasco agent must be notified in writing within 30 days after defect is discovered. Said authorized Wasco agent will arrange to have your claim investigated. If there is no authorized agent in your area, you may write to the address below. The purchaser must provide the Wasco serial number to the Wasco Customer Service representative (located on outside of the skylight retainer).
Wasco will, at its sole election, perform one of the following in full satisfaction of all of its Warranty obligations:
• Repair the E-Class Skylight, at its expense, or
• Replace the E-Class Skylight, at its expense, or
• Reimburse the original end user $1,000 as liquidated damages in lieu of any and all other remedies.
Do not attempt to repair or replace the product without authorization from Wasco or a certified installer. Wasco will not be responsible for any damages to persons or properties, including the product itself, caused by any unauthorized attempt to repair or replace the product. Furthermore, Wasco may, at its option, refuse to provide any or all remedies under this Warranty if any unauthorized attempt to repair or replace a product causes further damages.
Under no circumstances shall Wasco be liable for any incidental, consequential, special or any other damages. The end user is responsible to mitigate and minimize water damage that a defective skylight may cause.
This Warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties. This Warranty gives you specific rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
